Privacy

Your information, handled plainly.

This policy explains what Fast & Found collects through fastandfound.com, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it.

Last updated October 5, 2026

1. Who we are

Fast & Found is a service of 250 Digital Inc., based in Victoria, BC, Canada. We are responsible for the personal information collected through this website. Questions about privacy go to hello@fastandfound.com.

2. What we collect

Only what you choose to send us, plus basic technical information:

  • Forms. When you send a project brief, a check-up request or a message, we collect what you enter: your name, email, business name, website address and your answers. A project brief also includes the estimate you built.
  • The site scan. When you scan a website on the check-up page, we fetch that site's public pages and run Google's public speed test on it. We don't store the results unless you send the check-up form.
  • Location for billing. We use the country your connection comes from, which our host provides, to decide whether to quote and bill you in Canadian or US dollars. It is stored in a small cookie and is never more precise than the country.
  • Analytics. If analytics is switched on, Google Analytics (through Google Tag Manager) records pages viewed, how you arrived, the device and browser used, and which forms or buttons were used. It does not identify you by name.

3. How we use it

  • To reply to you, prepare your check-up, confirm your project scope and send an agreement and payment link if you go ahead.
  • To send a confirmation email when you submit a form.
  • To understand which pages and offers work, so we can improve the site.

We don't sell your information or share it for others' advertising. We only email you about your enquiry or project unless you ask for more.

4. Who helps us

We use a small number of trusted providers to run this site. Each handles information only to provide its service to us:

  • Vercel: hosts the website and provides the visitor's country.
  • Resend: sends form notifications and confirmation emails.
  • Google: Analytics and Tag Manager (if enabled), and the PageSpeed test used in the site scan.
  • Stripe: processes payments if you become a client. We never see or store your full card details.

Some of these providers store information in the United States or other countries, where it may be accessible to authorities under local law.

5. Cookies

We use one cookie of our own to remember your billing currency. Analytics, if enabled, sets its own cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work.

6. How long we keep it

Enquiries that don't become projects are kept for up to two years, then deleted. Client records are kept for as long as you're a client and afterwards as long as tax and business records require.

7. Your choices

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted, and you can withdraw consent to our using it, subject to legal and contractual limits. Email hello@fastandfound.com and we'll reply within 30 days. If you're not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

8. Security

The site is served over HTTPS, form submissions go straight to our email provider rather than a public database, and access to our accounts is limited to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

9. Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be noted on the site.
